19 Mar Joe Haden underwent ankle surgery missing entire off-season
One of the Cleveland Browns most seasoned defensive stars is in danger of missing the entire off-season.
The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that cornerback Joe Haden underwent ankle surgery this week. Haden underwent surgery on his left ankle Wednesday, the team said. The injury occurred in Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Haden only played in five games last year after suffering multiple concussions that forced him to be placed on IR.
Haden is scheduled to resume football activities during training, the team announced on Friday. He’s expected to be ready for the start of the 2016 season in early September.
