18 Mar Jets didn’t know about Darrelle Revis’ wrist injury during season
Thursday’s surprising news that Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis had to have surgery to repair a torn wrist ligament raised a question: Why, if Revis had been injured as far back as Week 3, was it never noted on the team’s daily injury report at any point during the 2015 season?
The NFL has an injury report policy, which states: “All players with significant or noteworthy injuries must be listed on the report, even if the player takes all the reps in practice, and even if the team is certain that he will play in the upcoming game.”
