22 May Jamaal Charles limited during OTA’s
Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles will be limited during the Chiefs’ OTAs, according to head coach Andy Reid. Charles is returning from a season-ending ACL injury suffered Week 5 of the 2015 campaign. (Source: Chiefs.com)
It’s the second time he’s suffered such an injury, first tearing the ligament in 2011. He bounced back well from that first injury, rushing for 1,509 yards and five scores in 2012 and then another 1,287 yards and 12 TDs in 2013. But Charles turns 30 years old in December, and the Chiefs have a pair of capable backs on the depth chart behind him: Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware. Charles needs to return from this latest injury as well as he did the first one in order to retain his top spot.

This year? #75.
