30 Jan Aaron Rodgers knee surgery – Recovery going well
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers underwent knee surgery following the loss to the Arizona Cardinals, according to a report from ESPN. This procedure is reported as the reason for the two-time MVP pulling out of this year’s Pro Bowl.
The report describes the procedure as a “clean-up of an old injury,” according to an unnamed source. Rodgers confirmed the surgery to ESPN late Friday night and told the outlet he is “doing well” and “recovering on schedule.”
A possible reason for the what is being reported as a “scope,” was a hit on Rodgers in the fourth quarter by Ezekiel Ansah of the Detroit Lions during their Nov. 15 match up at Lambeau Field. This was mentioned in the ESPN report.
